I read somewhere that the k20a weighs either 10% or 10kgs lighter then the b18c. I think its in the dc5 dealer book. Cant remember :P

with enough BLING then u can have anything done... check out the all motor section, theres a k20a going into an old 1988 civic.

yes it can be done.
it will cost alot, and weight is similar to the b-series engines, its not heavy like the h22a.

There are a whole lot of bits n pieces you need to purchase apart from just the engine swap to get it up and running. Some custom work would need to be done, especially with the del sol as there arent as many readily available products for it like the EK/EG when it comes to k-series swaps into it. I reckon you could get away with using alot of parts originally produced for use with an EG as they are extremely similar.

I know there are people who have done it, best to search on k20a.org. Awsome site.

btw, if you didnt know, prepare to spend at least $20k if you are serious on doing this swap, that is without labour.

the h22 isn't really that heavy of a motor either... lots of people seem to misinterpret it's effect on the weight distribution(moving the center of gravity up and forward) with just being way heavier.

Yeh thats right kris costs more here as our dollar is diffrent to yours in the US but convert your dollar to ours and the cost would be very similar. we also have to factor in shipping as almost everything has to come from the US.
