If memory serves me right the CK model Accord is actually built in Thailand..VIN should start with MRHCK...American cars are 1HGCG...and are only 98 models as quality control was of concern

Yep thats right..I have the same model CK2 series accord. Great cars..just make sure you do a proper tranny check before u take ownership. these trannies are known to have problems if not maintained properly and driven irresponsibly.

I haven't modified it yet as I've had it for a little under 2 months, but just the usual lowering and rims coming soon.

I'm not sure about later models, but I know my one's built in America. i don't think there are too many differences but I think the one from America is a little longer...... not sure though.

As for a picture, i'll post one up as soon as I get the chance. I've done a little bit to it since the last time I took a pic.

If any one looking at buying a V6 Accord be sure to do a full check on the transmission as they are nothing short of shocking..between them and 97 Preludes i don't think Honda has ever had so many transmission failures

i try to get mine serviced every 5000k's from honda....its actually going in...in 2 weeks would gettting it serviced all the time help it last longer....

- if it blows out can we get another box instead of replacing it wit the shit 1 that was in there in the first place?

HonDaddy : Thanks dude..

Main problem to be noticed is transmision.. but as long as you serviced it regularly.. shouldn't be any problem.. and remember.. always use honda oil for the trannie.. Honda put some magical chemical in it.. :D

Maybe the transmission problems only come with the automatic, i've got a manual and it's fine.

i own a 99 v6 accord...had it for 12 months, great car,,,,tranny is a pest,,,but the main drama i thought was the tranny is an engine mount...my car goes well,comfortable..slight roo damage atm,but in april it gets fixed, angel eye headlights in the black, rear vision mirrors with blinkers,17 inch wheels, dropped slightly, and lip kit and zorst if i can find em...
