just a question
is ur rear wiper blade still there?

also if ur window is tinted (cant really tell).. u mightn't wana hold the hair dryer to close to the window.. it might ruin the tint

^^ yeh the rear wiper blade are still intach since i havent bothered tryin to remove it.

at this stage i ve contiuned to use the screwdriver and kinda dug the black crap off the right side of the wing i dunno but kinda feels im scratchin the windscreen. i have yet to determine whether the window tinit is fading from the hair dryer. thanks for hitting up the idea it might fade my window tint incoming. im a brainless wonder

Just a thought, check to see if the two bolts that hold the gas struts on are being used to fix the wing onto the hatch in any way before you go yanking it off...
