Did anyone hear anything more about this, they got green light for building in 2004, last year they got the land and all contracts but I don't know if they started yet or what ever is happening with this great project in WA.
This is what they say:
Start Your Engines - Bunbury International Circuit Gets Green Light.

Perth International Motorsport Management will start work on it's $30 million international motor racing circuit at Bunbury after receiving environmental approval from the State Government today.
This is how it shoul look

It's 4000m long, with main stright 800m, just found some more info it's gonna be named Bob Jane Bunbury International Racing Circuit for first 5 years with option of extension for 5 more. Main events that will be held are Australian round of the Formula Nippon Championship Series (that's where some of future F1 drivers come from) and well known Japanese GT Series that is becoming one of the most popular motosport championships in asia (NSX, Supra, Skyline, 350Z ect, would love to see those GT cars racing, until now I could only see them by playing GT4 on PS2, soon that could change).
and also I would love to take my ITR for a track day on such a circuit:)

JGTC will for sure but don't know about F1, Melburne has contract until 2010 I think, maybe after that.

I'm with ^^V on this, only $30 million?
It'll be just another track built for bikes (eastern creek, phillip Island etc)

Why would WA get rid of WRC and build this track?
You'd keep both wouldn't you?

I think it's privatly founded, gove of WA has nothing to do with this (that's what I heard). And if you look at track itself it's not build for bikes, it's more for car ect.
Will see in near future, I hope it all goes good.
