Was just looking thru my service book. I had my 1st service (1000km) done recently and it appears that they hadn't stamped it.

just curious, are the dealers sposed to stamp the book for u automatically or do u have to bring ur book into reception and pass it to them when leaving the car there??

sounds a bit dodgy and lazy on their part if it is.

The process is that they are lazy f*cks.

I usually leave mine on the passenger seat for them so they can't forget, but they still manage to every single time!

I may be getting pedantic, but if you work as a mechanic for a dealer (whether it be Honda or Ford or whatever) you would seem to think that most cars that come through the workshop would require the log book to be stamped wouldn't you, thus making the process of stamping the log-book a rather autonomous procedure...

Maybe I'm just too logical....

They should have stamped it. That is typical of a dealer to do that. Just take it back and get it stamped. :D
