Hey watsup. I'm a complete noob so please bare wit me.

I got a 94' civic vti and i want to get it turboed. I'v searched through the site and stuff but havent really found much info that can help me wit my situation.

I recently got a quote from someone for $3500 for a kit imported from japan. But the thing is i dunno wat sorta kit it is and what comes wit it.

Can someone just give me a basic overview of wat i SHOULD be gettin in a Turbo kit. I just dont want to commit myself to buyin a kit, when i have no idea bout turboin n stuff.

I saw this kit i got off a link from one of the threads. Is it any good?

Cheers for the help in advance. price ranges for kits would b appreciated too.

if you don't know what it includes, don't buy it... that simple

you admit you don't know anything about turboing and stuff, so here's my recommendation...

purchase this book, and read it cover to cover at least three times
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0837601606/ref=sr_11_1/102-4504455-3743306?%5Fencoding=UTF8

then, spend A LOT of time researching the different options of turbo set ups available for hondas. When you feel comfortable enough that you can answer most of the questions that come up in this forum and feel like you could piece together and install a turbo kit yourself, THEN think about purchasing a turbo set up.

awesome advice. youll find that once you know abit about turbo charging you will probably want to piece it together yourself.

There is heaps of threads on Ozhonda with information, also try www.honda-tech.com (http://www.honda-tech.com)

Search, look for build threads on turbo hondas and research everything. I spent the time researching and built my kit from scratch for a lot less then an off the shelf kit :)
