eu or ep3?

sorry guys as u can see im still a noob.. bought civic hatch vi last year still wondering is it eu or ep? wondering also if my hatch has the same dimensions as the civic si/ep3 that is curently overseas.. coz i wanna purchase sum lights n kits off ebay.. had this discussion wit samo but jus need a few confirmed replies before i can sleep well..

have a look at your vin number and at the start of the vin within the first 3-4 charaters it should say eu or ep.

it is EU... ep and eu looks same... nut i heard that they fitting is little different. such as bolt hole postions... i was trying to get bumpers(front and rear)from japan. this is what i found out that time...

its EU... When i got my car i did some research for it!! As i was ask some work shop EP3 front bumper with lip may be fit! but hard to found! so at last my car is use original honda kit (front, rear & side) but they looks OK!!

The 5 door Vi hatch that was only released in Australia is an EU3, with a d17a. The rest of the world recieved the 3 door EP3 with a k20a.

what a shame would of liked the ep3 looks very nice and compact.. try and convert it to look like the ep3.. heaps of stuff on ebay but worried that it wont fit..
