My car's idling at approx 1,500 cold, 800 warm or thereabout. It seems pretty normal.

and about losing the umph... I noticed it once a while on my car too, but it's back to normal now. don't know what caused it. Some day it just won't rev, but other days it revs like crazy LOL

Your idle is normal dude :)

It'll be even lower with the air con on so I don't think it's too much of a drama..

i still find the funniest... someone I know has the new bmw 7 series, one of the first ones (about 2 yo now)... and at idle the car shakes... and shakes badly. BMW can't fix it.. it just is as is... common problem apparantly, and he's thought black and blue for the past 2 years and has now given up. 200k car and it feels like a truck.. yet you can go buy a hyundai and it'd feel more comfortable so i tell him...

Anyone been to a mazda6 forum ...

they tend to like to junk talk other ppls cars alot ... especially ours ...
and yet in all the honda/accord/acura sites/forums i've looked at very few if say jack about the mazda6 which essentially is the accord rival i guess ...

interesting mentality i think ... jealousy perhaps heheheh :OP

i've driven both - mazda 6 and euro - and the mazda doesnt even start to compare to the euro...pfft those mazda 6 owners...dont know a good thing even if it hit them.. :P

I also realised that ever since the Accord/Accord Euro's came out, there's been much less new Mazda6's arriving, so it seems. Maybe people finally realised which are is really better :D .

hate to break you... but rattling happens :(
mine's been rattling and I'm guessing it's the speaker (not stock anymore), so whenever I got time I'll bring it back to the audio shop to get it tightened or whatever. But reading from club tsx & acura tsx forum, it seems to be a common problem.

euro77 actually i was just joking around ... i haven't had any rattles in my car at all .. even if i blast the system full ball ... and it' pure silence when the system and aircon is off ...

so i guess i'm one of the lucky one's in regards to having a no rattle euro ...
