Hey guys, I have an issue with my Jazz VTi-S. I've recently changed over the sound system, got a new pioneer unit installed it was DIY job however I followed every diagram, checked every wire before soldering, firstly the strange thing is - the head unit didnt get any power from the white/red power from the original loom however connecting the 'battery' wire from the headunit plug to the 'accessory' power, it worked when the car turned to 'on' and 'accessory' worked fine. BUT my problem now is my remote central locking does not work, in fact I cant fully lock the car manually because the hatch cant be manually locked.

So I obviously cant take my car out and be confident about its security, I guess my question is, where abouts could i have gone wrong to upset my remote central locking. Comming to think of it as well, my fuel guage does not go down when i switch the car off (goes the opisit way to full when off) then when i switch my car on, the needle goes funny for about 4 seconds then returns to the last location where the fuel was at.

I really need urgent help guys, I originally thought it might of been a fuse but I havent looked yet (and dont even know if theres a fuse for remote central locking)
Any help would be very very VERY greatly appreciated. Thanks a million in advanced.

When checking the fuses look in both the fuse box under the bonnet and inside below the steering.

Did you rejoin the wires using just electrical tape? Its possible one of the joins have come loose.

This wiring diagram for the stereo may help.
