Fuel meter stuck at full

hey dudes,
Got one problem with the ek, the friggin fuel meter is stuck up at full(F). This happend right after a refueled for like half a tank when it was nearly empty clearly it should of just be between the Empty and Full mark but it shot right up to Full mark and wont go down. How the hell do i fix this is it the meter which is screwed or the measuring thing inside the fuel tank?

mayb ur fuel sensor fing is gone? or f'd

your fuel sender unit is shat itself - or its disconnected.

Take out ur rear seats , find the fuel tank top (silver cover with about 6-8 screws in it and a small bunch of wires sitcking out) - undo that , take off , and look for 2 plugs - check the plugs are firmly in place for a start...

friends sat in the back and pulled a wire out somehow ? i dont know...its free to check so u might as well !

i hav same problem in my eg fkn gay!

once i had the subs going really hard and it worked for about a second :S but it's been like this ever since i got the damn car..

yeh ns pretty anoying ay. well im leaving the ek with my uncle who's a mechanic so yeh he'll probably fix it. Cant wait widebody kit n paint job soon!
