a/c on ek1

Hey ppl, in the past recent hot days Ive noticed when my a/c is on the car would drop to below 500rpm after i let go of the gas, and when it hits below 500 and makes a tapping noise and it will den automatically rev above 1000 and den drop again once I let go of the accellerator. Also it runs quite sluggish too. I use to have no problems running the car with a/c on. I have a ek1 with a pod. mayb it might b something with the pod and hot air..?

some times if the ac system has just been serviced and they put to much gas in it it could do what you say. the ticking is very noticable and it puts alot of load on the engine.

otherwise your compressor could be failing

happens on my ek1 also
tap the gas and the rev will hit 0 and *click* revs go back up agen...

yea same with me ... it only happens on hot days ... on normal days the rev is normal :)
