ok ok.
i have spent the whole weekend researching what to do with my sussy setup (it was a rainy weekend in my neck of the woods)
currently i am just running super low king springs on my stock shocks.
running 17x7's my wheels had a camber issue.
i now run 16's - and wish to "dump" the height to lower level - still staying legal.
now i have researched up on "sleeves" and also adjustable shocks etc. etc.
now im only 17, so i dont have truckloads of mulah$$$.
what would you suggest?
1. king springs, koni yellows
2. coilover sleeves, stock shocks
the main factor is money - so prices would help.
also need some help into the camber issue, best way around it..
the following is a link to a list of "sleeves" on ebay:
ebay link (http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&fstype=1&catref=C6&from=R10&satitle=coilover+springs+integra&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=&floc=1&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=Postcode&ga10244=10425&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=)
any input is welcome..

also - are "ball joint" camber kits suitable?
or would a control arm style be better?

If money is an issue, then Koni shocks might not be the way to go...they are worth like a grand for all four. They're awesome, however you might wanna go with some non-adjustables like KYB or Tokico for the time being. You can get them off ebay but dunno about postage...Then match these ones with the lowered springs. Or maybe even Koni Reds. Since yours is a DC, you should be able to find second hand coilovers readily available. good luck.

how much for a second hand set of coilovers roughly?
car will not see a track on this setup either - so it's 100% street.

Any car thats "dumped" will not be any good.
Keep it smart champ, though if you really dont care about handling why are you buying some brand name shocks and springs? Chop the stock springs, use 2nd hand stock shocks and cut the bumpstops down.
Running bigger wheels will not effect camber either, so thats not your issue (hence no reason to change back to 16's). Get a whiteline bush camber kit that goes into the upper control arms. Ball joints wear and then knock only too easily on aussie roads. Plus, adjustable bushes are more legal.

its not to just be dumped - i want tyres level with guards lowness. i went back to 16's mainly for handling - 17's are like ski's. anyway im looking into buying some tein SS. how much am i looking at for the whiteline bush camber kit? and can i get them from the net (not many good places where i live).
thanks heaps.

i got a quote from Fulcrum for about $600 for the front and rear camber kits.....i priced it up and a set of coilover worked out cheaper....here's an example. Koni Yellows $950+Fulcrum Camber kits $600 = $1550 :p Makes those coilovers look really tasty doesnt it...lol.....oh yeah got to ad labour in there too ;)

You’re still going to need camber kits.
The rears you can get away with using some washes and longer bolts(DIY Camber kit) but you’re still going to need a camber kit for the front.
Also the hight your talking about being is probably too low for the offset bushes in the white line kit you’re going to need a proper upper control arm replacement type kit.
Ideal camber is about 0.5-0.8 when your level with the guards I’d say the camber would be around 2.5. The offset bush from white line won’t correct that much camber. (Will only give 1.0+/-)
Suspension that come with adjustable pillow ball mounts (typically found in coilovers) don’t correct camber in double wishbone suspension that is found in all Civics and Integras 92-00.

thanks heaps man - very imformative. i saw the rear camber adjustment - is this safe? where should i buy the longer bolts from?
+1 rep point buddy - top info
$600 dollars sounds quite expensive to adjust the camber. Whiteline have a package for the dc2 integra, for $751 you get front and rear camber kits, a caster kit, and front and rear swabars. there swaybars for this model are $483 alone, so im shur the camber kits mustnt be very expensive.

Well Akira asked about price and its good to learn about your car, and what way is better then to install the suspension yourself.
I am more then happy to spend a few hours with someone installing some shocks, ill supply some tools also. Good times and memories are always to be had.

My wheels are about on the guard..
I have no camber kit..
On track and spirited driving sees me wear the outter side more than the inner.
could someone justify a camber kit for me to induce positive camber?
Oh and the whiteline castor bolt.. Ive heard about them bending and giving way under hard driving...:thumbdwn: ... (he is on this forum)
