Hi guys

i run a search but havent found anything thats really helped me out.

im basically after decent brand shocks for my CD5 and what sort of cost i would be looking at.

the car is a daily runner so i aint after anything expensive

i got a set of king springs i wana use with new shocks.. can anyone point me to a decent, non expensive brand thats popular for CD5's?

i got quoted $940 for front/rear munro shocks and thought it was a bit expensive..

most members on this board are runnin koni's or the bilsteins... both can be had for under $800 (NOTE: UNDER).

alot of ppl run the bilstein shocks with eibach springs. If ur in syd and u dont kno where to get them, shoot me a PM and ill give u a hand.

i used the yellows with that kind of drop (Kmac springs as well actually), they were fine together with the Koni bump stops.

And yes, yellows can be had for under $800 (used to be able to be had for under 700 before some price rises ;) )

ross, get oliver to get some well known brand shocks for trade price.

also ive picked up brand new koni yellows and springs once before for 700 (private sale). if you can find a shop selling it for under 800 you should share, because we all know sharing is caring. :)

I had the monroe's in my accord, with lowered springs i guess...I had this setup replaced with my nice new Tein Coilovers...

I would also like to take this time to say that i was selling these shocks and springs, and being a nice guy, sent them down to a member of this forum (Kenny), and now not only has he not paid me, he is avoiding me like the plauge...If mods don't like me saying this, then delete the post, But i thought i would just share my feelings...
