OEM Power windows into a non-power windows EG. Help.

Hey guys.
Just wondering how difficult and how expensive would this be too do?

If i were to do it myself that is..

Any info would be helpful, couldnt find any searching.

I already have an EG sedan with power windows, so i could check how its all setup there, couldnt be overly difficult.

I would just need the motor, wiring and buttons yeah?

Well if it is anything like in an ek, you need a fair bit more than that:

Regulators
Motors
Door wiring
Switches
Dash wiring
There are a number of threads on this swap on Honda-Tech and if you need more assistance let me know :thumbsup:.

i just did a quick check on HT then, they say i need those things you mentioned also. They all say its not worth it.

Have you done it? If so id like to know some info on how difficult and expensive it is to get the needed parts (EK info is fine, cant be too different to EG).

The reason i ask is because i have EG6 trims going into an EG Hatch (havent bought the hatch yet). The trims are made for power windows and i want fitment to be perfect. I was wondering if i found a cheap enough EG which had no power windows, whether it would be a good idea to get it and do a power window conversion.

Maybe id be better off finding one with power windows from the beginning.
Id still like some info though :D
