Yup the Audiobahn 34 inch is the largest sub in the world. It was there for show at the Autosalon in Melbourne last year.

Actually, Slow96GSR you might be able to help us with this being in the States and all. Have you heard whether Resonant Engineering (RE) has finished its new monster? Here is a shot from last year of one of the test prototypes displaying the subwoofers five inch excursion!

I will make a call and see.

I haven't been paying attention to them so I don't know what model it is but that's what is out now. Waiting to be called back by my guy to see what he has.

i think the biggest car subwoofer ever made was 60" so yeah but can you say 25% distortion

Ya that 34" is a beast. It was hard finding amps big enough to power it then U.S. Amps came out with the USA6k and then we could hit the RMS rating easily! 13k watts a coil with 1 amp a coil was awesome! It was freaking loud! The sub I really want for a street car is the Autotek XS2111 21" sub, doesn't take too much power but puts out a good spl score every time and takes very little room. That 34" needs 21 ft cu. That was my whole back of the truck. Glad the amps were small and could go in behind the seats.

Oh there was a really big sub something like 6-7 foot dia. made a while back and only played for a little bit, but wasn't made to really work. It was just a test/demo sub. Played on like 500-1k watts. I'll look it up; I got it in a magazine somewhere.
