hey peepz i just recently installed a a/f gauge.. i wired it up to my 02 sensor that comes off the extractors... now the day i installed it.. it was fine but the next day it stopped working.. the gauge still turns on and all but the meter is not showing.. what do you guys suggest might be the problem??

Check to see if your sender wire is disconnected somehow.

Let the car warm up. It may be off the scale until then.

or a bad ground

or just not worry about it? it's not like an a/f guage hooked up to the stock o2 sensor actually provides any useful information anyway... it's just a pretty light show.

It provides you enough info while you are driving. A wideband would be better but whatever you can afford.

it really doesn't though... it doesn't really provide any usable info at all.

it can basically only tell you if it's <14.7, 14.7, or >14.7

which is pretty much pointless, especially in situations where a "safe" a/f and an "unsafe" a/f are both <14.7... no way to tell them apart

looks good though...

if you consider pointless looking good ;)

why not wire the gauge up to the tps sensor... make it go up and down with the gas pedal?

(yes, I know that wouldn't actually work due to the variation in output voltage of the two sensors)
