over here we only got the 4speed auto in the KA7 92-95, but in th states the ACURA legend coupe came out in a 6speed manual. the 6speed convirsion is common in the states but over here the demand for any thing to with a legend is just un herd of, trust me, ive looked every where!

theres no way it would bolt up, the KA7 3.2V6 is a NORTH/SOUTH facing motor.

bahh.. all i heard was.. north south..

so wats the point then.. all i heard it was a non vtec version of the NSX engine..
drove one the other day. the pedal feel was weird. but when the foot hits the ground..
the thing just pulls..

i just bought mine for 6 thousand AUS dollars.
its a 1993 model with 200 thousand K's on the clock.
hrrms.. its got everything. nothing more to say!
only thing gay about it bloody the stacker doesnt read burnt cd's -_-

umm.. needs a service and also some cleaning. but for a 13-14 year old car. the paint is mickey mouse!!

The diff is actually bolted to the drivers side od the sump and the left hand driveshaft runs through a sleeve inside the sump..

96 onwards (3.5 litre) also has a balance shaft in the engine at the r.h bottom corner of engine..make sure it is timed correctly or engine WILL vibrate at idle

Hey Legend owners. If you have msn add me, waldo78@msn.com

Did somebody ring Honda to confirm that there were manual 2.5 litre Legends in Australia? I know that Australia did not get a manual Legend. I haven't heard about this mysterious 2.5 manual though. You might be confusing it with Rover? They produced the 2.5 and 2.7 with a manual transmission. If you are going to do a manual swap your best bet is to buy a manual Rover and swap out the transmission from that. The rest do not have manual transmissions here.

here in Australia Honda did release a 2.5l manual Ledgend

I have repaired and driven several of them,

they do exsist

Are you sure you don't mean Rover? I know that Rover made the 825 and 827 which had the Legend motor in it with an optional manual transmission.
I have never come across a Manual Legend in Australia though.
Prove me wrong. :p

I worked in Honda dealerships as a mechanic for 10 years.

I know a manual Honda Ledgend when I see it.

was quite common to see them in those days.

there are a few around.

As much as I would love to belive you I can't.
Not without proof. I am not calling you a liar I am just skeptical to think that there are Manual HONDA LEGEND's out there in Australia. Also if they are so rare it is strange that they all came into the dealership you worked at for 10 years.

i have allso seen a 2.5l manual in a dealership wen i was looking at legends.

so yes they are out there, and belive it or not there is such thing as a 2.5l turbo legend all so, it used some wing turbo set up, i dont know much about it.

you know any thing about it ECU-MAN?

razaman

I don't think there was a 2.5l turbo legend, I've seen the 2.0l turbo (c20a). I've heard of a 2.7l turbo but can't confirm it.

The 2.0 puts out 190hp. The turbo is only setup on half the cylinders. Apparently they are hard to work with and need a good maintenance schedule.
