gen 1 crx clutch

hi i am looking for a clutch for my gen 1 crx, it has a ew2 motor (1500cc carb) i have called many places and they say there is 3 different types of clutch so i need to find the right one with the right amount of splines.

You’re going to have to pull the clutch out to know for sure.

When my friend had his clutch changed in his CRX they ordered the clutch for a 88 model which is what his was but when they tried to fit the new clutch it wouldn’t fit they had to take the clutch to the clutch manufacturer and found it was an 87 model gearbox or something like that.

Why not just take it to a mechanic and ask them to change the clutch. It being an ew2 motor I’m sure your not looking for performance just get an OEM Clutch(unless it’s a JDM Import) and let the mechanic worry about ordering the right part from Honda.
That way he can take it back if it’s the wrong one.
