if you dont want to chrome it, paint it yaself...... its soooo easy!
I have a fully airbrushed cover on mine did it myself, come up a treat!

Im planning on stripping, sanding and polishing one......but no-one has a B16A rocker cover to sell!

Yeah I polished mine back myself.. took a good day though. The orginal paint freakin hard to get off.. once thats off the rest is easy..

First clean it down to get all the dirt of then get some sand paper and sand it back.. not too course though.. then when u have it all off sand it with finer sand paper and water.. wet and dry. Then polish away :)

Thats what I did anyway..

....err....that must've been extremely hard! best way to do it (or so im told) is to use aero grade paint stripper...then sand...

...The only thing im not sure about, is- would the lack of that coat have any negative effect on the engine bay temperatures??

if you want someone to do it, i can give you a contact of a guy which does it in sydney, but he can do your parts if you send them to him interstate i think....

yeah there's a place in heidelberg...ummm...u know the mazda dealership on bell st.? it's a few doors down from there. my friend got his rocker cover painted spoon yellow...from memory only $50! sure beats doin it urself!
