View Full Version : do civics have reinforcement bars
just wondering if anyone knows FOR SURE
that normal civics including EK4 has reinforcement bars (aka re-bar)
they sit behind the front and rear bumpers
afaik they are only present in EK9's and is part of providing a stiffer chassis
u can get a rough idea of where they are located in the pic ( of an ek9 chassis)

only EK9's have this bar ive been told. Never seen on anything else pre-2000.
Its only part of body reinforcement ( same as the ITR rear boot brace etc))
