i was just wandering if u can clean the filter in the standard air box of dc2rs

Yes, if its not too dirty... I just use an air compressor and blow out all the dust

If its a standard one its not really cleanable other giving it a tap to dislodge any bigger particles. k&n panel filters are washable

i dont think you should spray it with the hose would be a good idea.
60buks will get u 1 from honda, or just get a K&N.

Too oily i think, i think K&N is better
Spoon filter is just the same as Monster filter anyway

yeah, i tried the spoon filter..
its not to bad.
i just bought the standard one though :) much easier.

I had an Apexi pod in my stock box when I bought my car. That was okay. :)

ya.... K&N is the cheapest alternative but actually you can custom made a universal K&N filter to suit on the std air-box, it cost like $60 only

Trying to find the part-no, post it up later

EDIT:
Found it, but should i post it up here or just pm me? Cos it's $60 now, and maybe it will become $1xx later

I got a Trust in my DC2R, its a good filter, i would recommend it.
