WARNING: BE VERY CARFUL WHEN USING POWER TOOLS.. if you are not confident with a router or trimer dont use it.. get someone who knows what there doing to do this.. only reason i did it myself is beacuse ive been using power tools since i was 5

Step 1: Remove coin pocket and handle surrounds. remove srew from top of door ( closest to body of car ), take of window handle, then take the door trim off so it looks like this

Step 3: unpack your 6" splits

Step 4: grab your router/trimmer and remove the meat from the brace just enough to fit the speaker into.. u dont want to go to far or it will fall apart.

Step 5: Mark out where u want your tweeter to go on your door.. and use the guide to mark a hole... drill a small in the center then put the trimmer in a make it to size.. go a little to small first and see if it fits and make ajustments from there dont go to far... unless your after the DIY crap look. install the tweeter following the guide on the box.. pretty strate forward

Step 6: Stick some Velcro to the back off the crossover and stick to the underside of the door where it will not hit support for the door

http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/3470/car0188rz.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Step 7: Wire the woofer to the crossover, the tweeter to the crossover and the amp to the crossover

http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/3254/car0217kx.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Step 8: re-install the plastic speaker brace and screw the woofer to the modified brace

http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/2940/car0226tn.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Step 9: turn on the head unit and test it.. if it all works fine then you have done a good job.. if it dosent check wiring... and check that your head unit is not on mute  if still not working contact someone who knows there shit

Step 10: put all the trim and trimmings back on and the only change you should notice is the new sweet looking tweeter

Step 11 : Repete on the other door

Other comments:

this is the first time i did a door install by myself.. so really anyone should be able to do a really neet job

Be sure to keep looking at DIY section for more Pioneer installs.
