basically get a 10mm + 12mm , 14mm and 17mm socket / spanner set - turn off ignition , crack 12 top bolt ontop of fuel filter , hold the 17mm ontop and crack the 14mm nut on the inlet , then crack the 17mm on top - take the fuel filter mount off the fire wall and take off the 10mm bolt holding the fuel filter to the mount. Reinstall in opposite fashion with new washers...prime ignition and look for leaks. Tighten if needed.

Every 40,000km, or maybe 50/60 if you use Premium.

Here is a DIY to replace the Fuel Filter (with pics):

Also be careful for the fuel leak when you take off the top screw, the pressure will leak some fuel out of the fuel filter. Better use a dirty rag or gloves or something to cover the top of it and underneath when you take the major top screw off.

i changed mine last month. Very easy!!
Take it easy buddy!!

if you open your fuel tank cap 1st, it will back off the pressure in the tank and no fuel will leak out.
