Hey guys,

great forum!!

ive just purchased a JDM 1988 EF-7 CRX so so far its very surprising.. handles very well thanks to some adj tokico shocks and low king springs but it seems to be very restricted in the breathing department.

What do u guys rekon, headers + 2 1/4 inch full exhaust and K&N panel filter?

Worth the money?

The EF7 would love a set of 4-2-1 headers with long secondaries...

EF7 is the ZC powered CRX.

For a start - refer to this thread below for " tips for d16a8/ZC engines"

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7045

BTW ~ the d16a8 is the same as your ZC so all mods for the AUDM crx + civic Si are interchangeable.

2 1/4" maybe a bit too big.. stick with 2" i say, but definately change the headers. anything jap is good, just don't get something like xforce :p

you'll notice that the ZC is a bit low on the breathing side, make CAI and put on a panel and you'll notice the difference in top end.

it will fit your d16a8/ZC all the same - possibly will need modding to line up to the cat -back piping tho.

it appears to be a x force copy.

save ur money. dont waste it on any breathing apparatus for your pansy zc.

swap the engine when u got enough.

Most of all, remember to ignore everything z3lda says.

if you are a big boy you can get EF7 Fujitsubo extractors for around 900

i would recommend u put ur money into suspention setup first... then go for exhaust
u will never make the d16 into a real torque machine for uphill with just exhaust

but u can make it good for downhill with suspention

I plan to do bushes and some strut braces..

When the engine dies.. i plan to get a b18C ITR put in..
