The Pana costs a little more but I think the quality is better. The addition of the sub output and control is well worth it plus they have better remotes than JVC!
Both JVC and Panasonic are okay. :)

how bout jvc-kdg615
has the MOSFET power amp wif 3xRCA outs + sub control.. its 250ish or less.
n i hafnt seen that model u showed b4 at a stereo place eg. jb hifi
by the looks of that model, had the iPod bit.
Just wanted to add... that this topic reminded me that I don't want to change my headunit. Whilst it doesn't look "that" cool (but cool enough to me), I don't want to lose the functionality of the indash stacker nor the audio controls.
For those who don't know what the stock Honda Civic deck looks like;

Btw back on topic though; I'd pick the Panasonic purely on look; I don't know about functionality/specifications.

I can speak very highly of the Panasonic headunit :)
I got it reduced to $243 :) Its a very good headunit and as mentioned has good sub-control.. Its a quick, well motorised and sturdy deck and id reccomend it...

If the panasonic had that annoying bright blue neon face, then I'd choose the JVC, but since it doesnt, i would go for the panasonic anyday. I think those JVC models are pretty old to be honest. Same design for the past few years if i'm not mistaken. I used to have a panasonic myself and it only has had one problem since I owned it. And it was my fault as well.

The Panasonic CQ-C5401 is selling for around $250 at JB atm, whereas the JVC KD-G525 is still selling at RRP as it was recently released.
