located under the glovebox on the left hand side...there is a green or orange plastic plug/cover with one or two plugs inside. The small 2 wire one , short it out with a paper clip and follow my DIY ecu check -

nah thats the service link connector[2 pin], im looking for the obd data link connector[16 pin]. apparently its on the drivers side but i cant seem to find it?

do u mean the connector in the engine bay ? (next to the dizzy + RHS headlight loom - it has a plug in it)

it doesnt have one

they use the 3 pin connector Bren mentioned above,
