what other mods have u got ? you need some pretty serious work to get the most out of any of those cams.

i don't want to list my mods, but i think my new engine should be okay.

Well its gonna be pretty hard to tell how much of a gain u'll get with either of the two choices. If your car's bone stock then u won't get much out of it.

It'd be a different matter if the whole thing's worked.

When chosing cheaper camshafts, be mindful that cheaper product's material specifications & manufacturing processes are not always on par with those of top shelf products.
This can lead to less than satisfactory product durability. ;)

The spec 5 cams are for really full on motors
your head will nead a rediculess amout of work to it for thoses cams to suit
have you been recomended these shafts?
speek to your tunner slash builder
your will need comp in the 14's+ and heaps of head flow
have you had your head flow tested?

man spec 5 cams! toda spec D! these are VTEC-kill cams!

what type of engine work has your new engine got?

as SKREMN said you need a hell of alot of head work i.e high rated springs, valves, retainers, gears, not to mention proper fueling, intake, ECU, injectors, bigger ingnition, exhaust! internals i hope your engine has 12.5-1 or higher pistons, seriously strengthened rods, possibly a crankshaft...

you'd be better off with spec4s than spec 5s with 12.5 c.r.

yeah, thats why i said or higher, 12.5 would be the bare minimum running those cams of course

i try toda spec c, very good cam, alot of high end power. but lost some low to midrange power. and my friends in hk told me they use buddy club spec 4, the power is very good, but toda is still better. i like both. but buddy club is 1/2 of the price....... that why i ask have anyone try spec5.

adrian recently tuned a car with the buddy club cams in them. Personally from the results they got outta them i recon buddy club should stick to producing rims. lol.... call adrian for more info on them. im sure you will realise that this time you are just better off saving a little longer and getting the better product.....todas are made much better than the buddy clubs..... from the initial forging process to the reaserch and development put into the product.
the choice is yours though.
