Hi, a couple of parts i need to get my hands on, however, if you can get for a lesser price please Pm. Im only after Genuine Honda parts.
i got these prices from Honda, and the parts are for 1996 Honda Civic Vti: Engine code: D16Y5

Dude, check out ebay, they have a SOHC d16 flywheel for like $9US. U can grab TODA flywheel for ~$800 and u can import a ACT street/pro-lite flywheel for a $350.
Re the syncro's, just grab a 2nd hand gearbox. There is a guy on this forum selling a complete d16y8 (compatible with ur y5) for $650 INCLUDING the engine. I say ur car is a perfect candidate for a SOHC VTEC transplant :P

ICVCI... he myt b making a trip to melbourne to run in his new engine... i am not sure so dont quote me, or get ur hopes high :( . Other than that he is a trustworthy guy, so he myt even do the postal thing for u... jsut pm him that is your best bet.
