Hey guys, just need some opinions or advice. my car makes this funny road noise, like noisy tyres from my right wheel, particularly when the wheel is turned either to left or right. It is a constant booming/wallowing noise and is noticeable and low and high speeds. I thought it may be a bearing, but my car recently got a front alignment done at Heasmans, and I figure they would've known whilst doing the alignment if it was a bearing right? Could it be CV's? Any feedback appreciated, thanks
its either the CV or the bearing... if only happnes when u turn the wheel most likely CV - otherwise i ll place my bet on bearing.

with trhe wheel jacked up (off the ground) simply roll it in neutral or handbrake off...it should be a consistant with revolutions - look for any side movement etc and try to move it around abit

OK i just jacked up both front n right wheels.
nothing wrong with the tyres, tried to wobble the left wheel, its pretty firm.
the right wheel (which is the suspect one making the noises) seems to be abit loose and i can move it to a certain extent.
does this suggest that its a wheel bearing?
if so, how should i go about fixing it? is it better to goto mechanic and order just the bearing and put it in, if so what is the general cost of this?
or can i buy 2nd hand wheel hub assembly and put that on?
feedback pls!
thanks

if it "Wobbles" alittle compared to the other side then yes its likely the bearing or hub...you need the bearing pressed out and the new one pressed in.
Either DIY take the hub + arm and take it to hannys , or pay someone to do it all...
Ofcourse u can buy a EK wheel assembly and use that too.
