Im just trying to work out how to shorten the throttle cable instead of having it wrapped around the front above the headers and back up past the power steering. I have a EG6 B16A and sick of the big long throttle cable. Tried searching but no results. Has anyone done this before - and if so whats needed to do it.

I was told that I need to find a shorter Honda based cable but just want opinions / peoples other ways.

you can disconnect the cable , and run it straight to the inlet manifold and past the throttle body , to som DIY made wheel to transfer the cable pull to the correct direction aimed at the throttlbe body once again - measure up , cut the wires , re-hook up with the small lug etc...

Brisvegas. Just around the corner from Perth. Thanks for the offer Kyle but I might try the wreckers. I am finally getting the tappets done tomorrow, so may get the mechanic to have a look for a smaller one in his shop too.
