for those guys who have had spoon springs before for a EG or DC2
what are your inputs
how do they ride on noraml roads with stock shocks
also how do they go with aftermakret shocks ie Koni bilsetins etc
How low do they go
How well do they perform on the track
How do u rate them compare to other sprigns

ie pedders kings,teins, mugen etc

I'm interested to know also. I do know that the DC2 spoon progressives are suited well to ITR shocks and ride about another 25mm lower than stock ITR (which is about 25mm lower than vtir at front but less so at rear), from what I've seen the car sits very nicely.:)

I had spoon springs on my DC2R with stock shocks then spoon shocks.

Srings dun lower the car as much as other brands might (kg/mm, lovells evenkings super lows) BUT then provide good responsible lowering (compromise).

when i mated these springs to the spoon shocks i needed to get a good alignment as the car became light at speeds... easily done...

if u either have a 2nd pair of ITR shocks or ur shocks are worn.. then mate the spoon springs first and test them yourself....

track? springs and shocks are a street set up...

if you want to track get some decent coil's.

Spoon springs are overratted. For street there ok.

Not necessarily overrated, just misunderstood, but yes they're good for street.;)

Ive got spoon springs in my dc2r with koni yellows. I cant really speak for the height thing because ive dropped mine on the perch on the shocks too another inch lower than what the springs would be by themselves but as for handling and ride, the combo i have is harder than stock on the softest setting but whatever roll the dc2r had is dramatically reduced. I had K-mac lowered springs in my car before which was definately a mistake compared to these puppies

Anyway cant speak for spoon shocks with stock sussy but with konis = #1 combo

oh stock shocks
they give u about 1 figer gap between the guards.
very very stiff compared to the peders i had b4
and almost eliminates rear body roll too
very very recomendable springs

have to give me a ride in your car danny...

i wanna do a comparo to my whiteline...coz i think the philosophy of those two springs (like the way they designed them) is very similar...(ie good semi street/track springs)

from memory... :thumbdwn:

"Over priced branded Stuff" category.

whats the spring rates..?

I jsut checked.. the coilovers are ok for Street/Track and op ... being about 300fr and 240rr..

If the springs are any softer your might as well just get ITR springs..

But looking at that link, most of the members were damn surprised at the Spoon Springs going out like that... looks like a very very rare incident
