Hey guys

Wasnt sure if to post this in here or in motor section but its here now and move if needed.
Anyway I got a quote today for my 80,000k major service on my DC4 of $375 without bothering about air filter cos I have K&N.
Just wondering if this seems like an average price? I'm pretty happy with the price but would like different opinions.

Cheers

pretty good not too bad..
considering he should be doing the below

adjust tappets
fuel filter
oil change
transmission oil change
oil filter
spark plugs
brake fluid flush
and maybe a coolant flush.

but.. you can do most of it yourself?
couple are DIY in the forums.

Yea considered asking him to leave bits and pieces and I'll do em myself but for some as I often do oil n oil filter, spark plugs n that myself, but for some I don't have the facilities and I'm flat out atm, work 5 days a week n weekends are always full.

If you were a buyer of the car in the future though, do you think it would look dodgy that on the reciepts only half of the major service is listed? Thats all that got me thinking

it was only a suggestion.
but if you want to get a service history that's good as well.
oh wells.
as long 375 that's including parts should good.
but ask him what products his usin as well.
just to be sure.

Yeah i thought it was good price too, and will probably end up going with them as I also know they do quality work because they do all of our company cars for us.
Might just leave the DIY stuff for minor services

Sounds like a good price, I had my 80,000k service at Honda, supplied my own oil and said leave filter as I have Spoon, cost $560 + $160ish for new clutch master cylinder.
