hey i just spotted 2 bargains in the paper
only problem is i dont know if they will fit in my 92 honda accord
does any 1 know if the 5speed and motor out of a 84el accord will be compatible with my car.
the gear box is $50 with the slave cylinder the engine is 50 bucks too.

should i just buy them and see if they fit or not bother
i cant find any specs on the 84 accord thats the only problem. i have the f22 engine if that means any thing

thanks

that engine will almost certainly be carbie, and i think it would be some sort of A series engine so the chances of the gearbox being compatible with your accord are slim to none.

Basically i think its not worth thinking about really, no point going backwards like that

770 for a 5 speed, hrmm that seems a little much to me?

But i've never priced a gear box, so i'm just guessing :)

770 for a gearbox does sound a little too much...den again...i'm just guessing...cos i paid 400 for my last gearbox ..... on my old car ie a Swift.

84 is an e series engine, and its carbied and wont fit with a f22.
