Skipping!

Got a problems wit my dc2r

My problem is the revs skip when i hammer down my foot on 3rd 4th and 5th gears when im in low revvs, and sometimes in high revvs when im racing or going hard! i dunno wat it may be, i think it could be the o2 sensor or fuel pump problem!!??!?! CONFUSED!!

On 1st and 2nd there isnt any problem, just on 3rd, 4th and 5th when i hammer my foot down! When i drive normally its fine and nothing skips! It happens alot when the car is cold, when it warms up it doesnt happen as often but still does it!

SOme people have told me its the clutch thats slippng but i dun think so!
Any of u guys know what it could be?

BTW: ive got either a 5puck or 3puck clutch atm!

Can you elaborate on skipping?

Also if its under WOT the O2 sensor wont' come into play.

The first thing that came to mind was the clutch....but you'll certainly have to elaborate (as wyn said).

hey.. change ur spark plugs or leads..
when ur racing..
try this... then ur cruising at 60 in forth.. floor it..
dont downshift or anything.. tell me if it skips or not..

after u tell me wat happens.. let u noe wat it does

Skipping i mean when i put my foot down the rev meter jumps up quickly by about 1000rpm and then back down and continues accelarating normally again!

SOmetimes when i go hard it stutters and wont go any further and ill have to let go of the accelerator a lil b4 it resumes accelarating normally again...

Thats a good call!
i might check them actully because this problem happens not very often like a slipping clutch would!
Would it be wise to change them? or just clean?

This is a perfect example of wats happening to me when it skips
Ill try cleaning it and let u know if t still does it !!

could be dirty injectors??

Could be a slipping clutch in that case.

i reckon spark plug of leads..

or water droplets in the distributor cap?? or even down inside where the spark leads plug onto the plugs.
