Hi all,

Just wondering if door buzzing with music/radio on is easily fixed with a do-it-yourself fix?

My cars 1 month old and the door buzzing even at low volumes sometimes is really annoying. Can dealers fix this under warranty?

Are they expected to?

Thanks.

Get it fixed under warranty since it's still new... :)

Most likely a panel is loose... I'll be guessing the inside door handle/power window buttons area? Just asking because mine comes from there :P

There is the speaker buzz, and there is also the power window switch buzz. 2 different ones. Power window switch can be DIY. Speaker buzz is more troublesome, you have to remove the entire door panel.

I just removed the coloured trim part surrounding the power window switch. The switch is screwed onto that plastic trim (loosely too). I disconnected the cable and removed the switch from the trim. I put thin strips of masking tape on the switch at the area that rests against the trim (the lip) and then put it back together. No more vibration from the switch.

Here's the page with the info that I followed. Be careful of where you choose to pry the trim. There is a prying point at the front, but it was blocked by the door handle. So I went at it via the rear.
