Southern sunroofs at hurstville do a professional fitment and are the sole importers of holandia sunroofs which are standard fitment to most falcons and commodores.

My boss at work got a after market sunroof in his mirage for about 2200....

They arent cheap..... I think you best save the money and spend it on performanc emods or a nice head unit and system

it'd be better for you to ring around the shops that do these kind of thing for prices and more info.

check the yellow pages. they're there for a reason. good luck. :)

you can always try to source a roofcut from a vti wreck. Im sure it'll cost less as to how much to weld on its anotha story.

Yeah I put a Hollandia sunroof in my civic when I had it. Cost me $1800, had a sun shade pull across thingy and fully adjustable electric. But Hollandia have been taken over by Webasco and they do cheaper ones for about $800 but they dont open as wide, they look ok though!

Tint Plus in Mt Gravatt QLD r the people who did mine

You can't just cut a hole in your existing car and put in a sun roof.

The entire roof section has to be reinforced and done proffessionally. the 2k mark sounds around right :)

ahhh no. guess that is why Anthony38 is asking.

Prestige Sunroofs in Wetherill Park are also a qualified installer of Webasto/Hollandia sunroofs.

Friend had one done in his MR2. [before anyone starts asking, he's got a fixed roof GT] And they are excellent, he has the Hollandia 300M & $$ was somewhere between $1300-$1600. Although each application is different i guess, so you're best to enquire.

check them out by clicking here (http://www.hollandia.com.au/main/fs_aboutus.htm) and go to installers for your nearest qualified installer.

you can pay me half of what of what the cheapest guy is charing and i'll put a hole in your roof too ;)

imo, sunroofs are great if you have them, but you won't miss it if you don't have one. $2k is too much to justify on a civic. ie. 1/9 of total value you'll never see again.

um.. when I got my sunroof installed for 1800$ Im pretty sure they didnt put any re-inforcing in and I never had any problems for about 7 years now

I'm the first and proud owner of my em1 2000 Civic Vtir coupe and before I drove it out of the dealership I had the holandia sunroof fitted which was what they recommended. it has multiple tilt adjustment and multiple open positions. great sunroof.

go hollandia i have one in my coupe and no problems at all looks factory...no leaks nothing...they had a stand at sas this year right near the entrance...depending on wether you want one that slides over the top of the car or inside the roof cavity the price differs by about 600 bucks...

Are these available and if so at a much cheaper price? I wouldn't mind saving for one of them as summer is soon approchin =)

i dont know why you want to (waste) your money on something like that. you could do so many (more rewarding) engine mods for $1700 - $2000 bucks. just a thought, but just out of interest, why are you so hung up on getting one of these??? i mean its just a hole in ur roof to be honest

I heard the pop up non electric sunroof like the 180sx cost only about $500 ... If its that price, id consider gettin it in the future, but $2000 for an electric sunroof is a bit pricey i agree.. and would be money much better spent on some good suspension or engine mods..IMO

i want it for summer to be able to just cruise with a nice breeze (no, not my car :P)
and if it is 180'esq the japs call it a moon roof, because u can see all the stars and the moon..=) the night sky thro it... (not while driving of course :p)

yeh thats a bit better, and it may prove to be used a lot but i know that i wouldnt use a sunroof half as much as i think i would. moonroof though?>?>? sounds like a good medium
