where are some of your rattles in your ek1

im about to go rattle hunting tomorrow.. ( bass rattle) but just wondering where some of your rattles were and hwo you fixed them..

i seem to get a rear parcel shelf rattle.

the rattle on the rear parcel shelf are mainley the wires. between where the clips anchor them down to the rear parcel shelf they vibrate like a sine wave smaking into the metal of the parcel shelf. Fix this buy shoving foam under the wires. When just attack your boot area with a 10mm making sure everything else is tight.

i just stuck a piece of folded up cloth underneath the rear window and brake light ...
seems to fix the problem ...

so you took of your parcel shelf layerd a thing cloth then put the cover back on?

i just lost one of the little ruber plugs in there and cant get it out :(

most cars have them comming from the boot lid/hatch so realight the latch so its tighter and peoples number plates allways rattle so screw that tights with 4 screws or put some cushioning behind it

I've done nearly 180,000ks in mine, and yet to get a rattle anywhere.

awww... i kno that very well... its a common issu with EK sedan ...
