CVT..can someone shed some more light...

hi, i am planning on buying a '97 vti, auto and is said to have the CVT system..is this good..any major serivce or breakdown issues?
tried looking stuff up regarding the cvt but did not find much..can you guys shed some light on it please..

hmmm i know the HRV cvt boxes are SHIT,they have a heap of probs. other than that i think most of the other models with cvt have relatively little problems

yeah we have an HR-V and the gearbox sucks !
