Just recently i have noticed a knocking noise when under any braking, just before i come to a stop, As the wheel rotation slows down, so does the time between knocks.

the car is booked in for a service in 2 weeks - just thought i'd ask on here to get a rough idea so i can let the mechanic know.

anyway any info is helpful and if you need any more details just ask.
thanks heaps.

Is the sound coming from any particular wheel? Front, back, drivers or passengers side?

What does the knock sound like? Metal on metal or something else?

rear passenger side.
sounds sorta like metal on metal. like my rotor is warped or something..

Have you looked under the car. Does it look like anything is rubbing? Could be a swaybar if you have one fitted? Maybe the lca is bent. Could be a number of things. If you are taking it to a mechanic for a service the easiest thing is for them to check it out for you.

i had this problem. it was my wheel nuts. try tightening them. it gets worse and worse.. and then.. once it stops. means one of them has fallen off. then the noise will grow again.. gets louder. and stops. another one falls off.

could be you need to machine your rotors...uneven surface from dodgy pads or other reasons.

The last time I experience something similar to your situation, it was the brake pads, they are not sitting properly in the calipers and thus during braking, shifts the pads around... check to see that they are not loose...

Other than that, what bennjamin said :)

Yeah I had the same problem EuroAccord13 had. I don't know if it's exactly the same thing but one of the little rod things the brake slides on wasn't retracting on release of the brake and it was causing the pad to wear in a wedge shape. Just take it to brake joint cause you may need to get the calipers in question over hauled. This is obviously not the sort of thing you want to let go for a while.

same thing happened to me, needed my brake pads changed and rotors machined.
