my lock is stuffed [Archive]

Yesterday afternoon i opened my car door and i thought i heard something drop (metal sound).. i figured i dropped some money, had a look around couldn't find anything, and didn't think any more about it.

Anyway, i got home locked the car etc etc.. then when i went to unlock it an hour later the lock is stuffed. I physically can not unlock my driver side door! which means i can't open it, which means i can't take the door trim off to look inside.

has anyone else had this problem? any suggestions.... I'm 6'4" and a bit and climbing over the car to get out the passenger side sux ass, not to mention stupid

i'd probably start with taking the handle off on the inside
see it the long rod is connected to the handle and give it a pull to the left (or right)
