Hey i just wanted to find out a company who would have some kind of kit for this engine, or one which could be easily converted. I know little about turboing honda engines (got a skyline and a valiant and i assume that they're not quite the same) and less about turboing 4 cylinder carbd engines. Its the twin carb, single cam, GL 1991 civic. My mate wants a bit of a performance boost but seeing as the car is mainly show he just wants the turbo sound and a BOV i think.
Any companies that could help out with this? from like $1000-$2500 or something i assume is the price range he was looking at. Hes not interested in a engine swap or spending $200 on a carb or cam or anything, to get small gains, just wants a turbo
thx dudes and dudettes

The D15B4 engine is not even worth turbo'ing without an engine rebuild ;)
Engine swap would be much better...

Yeah since its a D series, u r gonna have to rebuild the engine and put in stronger internals (pistons etc..) so the engine wont fall apart.
im not planning on rebuilding or strengthening just wanna run about 5-6 psi so it is as cheap as possible wat else am i gunna need

Both kits listed are for an EFI D series... The D15B4 motor with dual carbs is possible but there is more to a turbo swap than just bolting on a turbo.
Remember, the D15B4 has an emission control unit under the passenger side carpet/floor, which is why it uses a EGO sensor on the exhaust pipe. The positive boost pressure being blown thru the carbs will cause problems.
It is possible to boost the D15B4 BUT it will not be a cheap alternative to an engine conversion.
