Engine bay resprayed = car has idle and driving probs

Hey peoples I just got my car back from the spray shop and I notice my car sounded like a WRX when I started it but not onli that when I vtec it its backfiring and sounds like its struggling.

Car hasnt been started for a while as its been in the shop for 5 months.

I also have a microtech computer which I guess is the problem.

Everyones been giving me ideas of whats happened but I dunno the truth as I dun wanna go to a mechanic and get a bunch of things fixed for which I dont.

So yeh any ideas of what it can be??

sounds like your leads are broken or are earthing on the engine/chassi. check them and make sure they arnt touching anything...also make sure they are put in tight and you earth wires are on securely.

make sure you have spark in all leads then make sure the plugs have no water around them and are fine.

i have had a similar sounding problem. definatly spark issue imo.
still could be wrong!!!
