yo, having a minor problem with my car..
i turn the key, the engine starts, but after a few seconds, it all turns off.. then the power comes back on again, ready for another engine start..

happened twice, then on the third time fired up and off i went without it turning off on me...

i was thinking that the engine could be cold.. but then when i got home, i tried starting the engine again, and it turned off again..

any solutions ?

could be your ingnition switch or the PGMFI relay

search the DIY section, both senarios have a DIY in there

thanks ! :)
yeah, i'm assuming it's the ignition switch.. the symptoms are what i'm experiencing..

what would the part be called at honda ? just an ignition switch or ?

Have you done an ECU Code check?

Check for any ECU codes - Its possible its a dizzy issue.

Did you find out what was wrong with it? My car starting doing this tonight. I start the car, revs goes up then just drops back down and dies. Sometimes have to try and start it twice before it actually stays on.

If it is the ignition switch, when the car stalls then you won't have any dash lights on eg oil, battery lights as it cut the ignition circuit.

If its the fuel relay, i suggest resolder it (as the DIY says) before looking to buy a replacement.
