I am interested in buying a Jazz because I want a Honda (was going to get a 2nd hand prelude, but it costs lyk $3000/year to insure with NRMA compre. insurance). I was wondering what you paid and where u got it from for a MY06 Jazz, can be 1.3 or 1.5. I am very interested to see the driveaway prices, especially for automatic.

I paid $23,000 drive-away for an automatic VTi (1.5L) but that was in June last year. Not sure how much prices have changed since then.

$23000 drive away for VTI auto, with free courtesy car and 10% disc on parts during servicing.
managed to squeeze the dealership for a 2 wk free loaner, as i was without car, while they prepare for 1 to be delivered from another dealership.

i paid 24k driveaway for my 05 Vti auto, with mats and 5yr warranty. 06 jazz prices has dropped a little, so you could probably get the new vti auto for around 23k.

scout around as different dealers offer different "packages", but also look at what other makes are offering for the same money. my wife just got the new yaris sedan auto for 22k with mats and 6 airbags. i think its a pretty good value, plus its built in japan, unlike the new jazz.

how come honda's On-Road-Costs are more expensive than other makes like toyota? if im not mistaken, the ORC for yaris is less than 2.5k? most honda dealers are charging about 3k for ORC.

you will have to ask honda Australia that...

Ohh and Fizz if you can tell me the difference between a thai built jazz and a jap built jazz ill give you $100 cash!

keep your money, i mentioned that merely as a personal opinion, because to me i would think that being built in japan would have slightly better built quality (in general). but lets not go into a debate on which has the better built quality, as i believe this has been covered before in a previous thread ;)

you can see the pictures of the new 06 jazz on honda aus website. has side mirror indicators and LED tail lamps...but no rear discs i think. other than that pretty much the same as before.

Sorry going off-topic here.

Aluminium manual transmission surround- what does that mean by surround??

Damn, why didn't most of these goodies came out in 05? :(

And i think they just photochopped the previous brochure for the 05.
