Hey guys do cars on carsales.com.au or any other website have to be taken off straight away if sold ?? would it be correct to assume that if its still on the website its for sale ? thx

that's why there are contact details for the seller. just ask them, it won't kill you

sellers have the option to take it off when sold...wether they do or not u wont know until u call them...

yes althought

some cars...i know of atleast 2 or 3 of mine which my dad has sold on carsales (dealer) will not let him erase the car from the listings for some reason..but all you have to do is call up the seller and check anyway...no big deal.

As a seller you have to logon once a month to maintain the listing otherwise it is deleted. So if its still up after a month, it's most likely still active. As suggested, contacting the seller is clearly the best idea.
