Volume of Warning Beeps

Is it possible to turn down the volume of the warning beeps you get on a DC2? Whenever I start the car without my seatbelt on, turn the car off with the lights on etc.

At the moment, it's 'too loud' - I still want the tone though, just alot quieter.

You can unplug the butt sensor underneath your seat and that will stop the beeps when you dont have your seatbelt on its a weight sensitive switch. There's no way to turn it down

im sure it would be possible...maybe a few resistors in the circuit ;)

its a peizo

find it in the intergrated control unit in the under dashe fues box and place tape over its hole, this will really shut it up

done it a few times on CD5's
