when you buy an exedy clutch do you get a relevant clutch bearing with it?

i'm asking because i got an exedy sports organic clutch fitted on my car and it seems as though my release bearing is gone.. i've probably travelled around 10-15,000kms or so, yes i give my clutch a hard time.

makes a clicking sound when the clutch isn't being touched and the sound disappears when i press the clutch.

is there any point in buying an aftermarket release bearing or should i just go Honda OE?

Just had an Extreme Ceramic clutch fitted today and BTW very happy with it, clutches don't however come with any replacement bearings, but they replaced my Spiggot Bearing (whatever that is) as it was worn.

The spigot baring sits in the centre of the flywheel. The end of the input shaft sits in this. Only cost about $5 to replace, so may as well do it when ever you having a clutch replaced.

as they said too - the clutch kit should come with a new nachi release bearing to suit your transmission , and a spiggot bearing too. Its all installed at the same time.

if your getting noises when your foot is OFF the clutch, the thrust bearing isnt doing sh.it, its just sitting there,

sounds like your ISB is rooted

Take the Input Shaft Bearing to a bearing wholesaler, i.e Bearings Wholesale, CBC Bearings, Metro Bearings and they will get the exact one at a fraction of the cost. They also sell the oil seal on the transmission case too.

Getting it through Honda sometimes you will wait 2 weeks if it is not in stock.

Yeah, under $30 for an ISB + oil seal if you do not get OEM.
