i would've thought CRX and EK had same offset?

i dun understand y it wouldn't clear the brakes. the size is big enough to clear rotation but offset isnt right

both FF and both honda... but different cars... *gasp shock horror* Why doesn't my bonnet fit?! :p

Anyway don't use spacers... just get a new set of rims.

1. If you're insured, you no longer are once you put on spacers. Race Brakes does some insurance inspection work for crashed cars and any cars with spacers are automatically void of their insurance policy.
2. You're putting extra stress on the hubs/studs.
3. Depending on the quality of the spacer and the material used, if it heats up it could expand/crack/fart, I dunno.
4. I don't see why you'd put your safety at risk just so your car can have some different rims?

This is just my advice, don't take offense as I'm sure somebody will... Only trying to look out for ya :p
That said though, some people will have used spacers and not encountered any problems. If you REALLY must, go 5mm max. And atleast put in some longer studs into the hub. BUT the same people who told me spacers were fine to use, also told me that using a 26mm thick rotor instead of a 30mm thick rotor was fine (ie. beyond RWC limits)... aswell as redrilling an already cast structure which has already undergone stress...

But hey personally I prefer not to take risks with something I'm putting alot of faith in already :)

PS: Isn't this in the wrong section?

FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

i wanted these rims so bad

its a work 2 piece

i guess i really shouldn;t then

had a look at the thread and when i put the rims on without spacers theres only like 1cm of thread for the nuts to bite on already

with spacer i'd need new bolts and all that and then the wheels might sit too wide and not tuck in under the guard

fyi there are 2 kinds of spacers.
ones that increase track width and the other that is used just to give an extra few mm to fit rims on.

yeah i want the 1s just to give a few extra mm

but the thing is my bolts already only have like 8 windings left for the nut to go on

if i add a 5mm spacer i might only have like 2 windings. and im scared. what if the but flies off?
