Hey i got a question. I'm under the understanding that there's 4 generations of B16A engines, now I can get a gen1 for a grand, and gen 2 for 2 grand then a grand for the 3rd and another 4 the 4th. I did a little research and turns out a gen 1 has a max power in the engine of 160hp. The gen 2 has 175hp. If i use a gen one and upgrade the heads and cams or any other internal work would it go harder than then gen 2? If i did the exact thing 2 the gen 2 would it go even harder? Wat seperates the different generations of the B16A? I heard it was a difference in ration of the Vtec and DOHC.

I meant ratio* not ration :o
if u have an eg man, best one to go for would be a gen 2 b16.
im pretty sure its the one easiest to swap in
Move to NOOB forum, file it under NOOB in the NOOB section.
