I was told from the salesperson from John Blair Honda that they have ipod car adapter for Accord, Euro, Jazz & CRV. It looks really nice on Euro 06 with sat nav cause we can view the ipod playlist on the screen. I forgot to ask them what third party adaptor they use. The only problem is a bit expensive $395 fitted. I'm gonna try to call the manager if i can get better price on that.

Can anyone here who already fitted ipod on their car tell me how much the total you spend to get it done (adaptor price & fitting cost)?

Thats not a bad price fitted.

I have an IceLink Plus and iPod Video in my car - it cost me $240 not fitted (I did it myself in ten mitutes, its easy to do). I dont have a mount yet - it sits on the passenger seat at the moment. A mount may cost an extra $20 or so... unless I rig up my own contraption. http://www.thecarkitcompany.com.au/product.asp?productID=41 charges $449 fitted, $240 unfitted. (the website says $290 but thats wrong)

$200 to install those is just wrong. it's literally a 10 minute job.

I bought a Dension - I20 Honda R3 ice>Link Plus from the US here: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/DENSION_I20_HONDA_R3.html It's currently on special for US$149

And installed it myself - took 20 minutes. See my post here: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37927

coyote, do you find that the iPod doesnt play automatically when the car is turned on? My iPod-Video pauses 90% of the time on start-up. I have to keep on turning the Honda HU on and off or press the CDC-Mode button a few times to get it to play...
On occasion it does actually start playing by itself.

And sometimes the iPod starts up disconnected to the IceLink-Plus (I cannot change songs with the steering wheel buttons, but the audio still plays), I have to physically remove the iPod and reconnect it to get IceLink to see the iPod

 :o  :(

Yeah, it normally pauses at start up, not sure why that is. I haven't had the problem you mention with it not connecting to the IceLink, although sometimes I cannot advance a track, but I can still change the volume. When this happens, I need to go back one track and then I am able to advance one. It's not a flawless system, but I'm happy with it overall. It beats the hell outta carrying a sh!tload of CDs around!

Yeah having 15000 songs on tap is worth the minor hassles with the interface.

I may try updating the Pod to firmware 1.1 despite the video playback problems...
Or maybe find out if there is a software update for the IceLink.
